The XSL Companion
The XML book contained one chapter on XSLT and one chapter on XSL-FO, but these topics both deserved more attention. XSLT in particular was attracting a lot of interest from an early point in its development. An entire book, dedicated to XSLT and XSL-FO, and also covering XPath. in detail, was clearly needed. The XSL Companion was therefore written, and was published in 2000.
This book was later translated into Chinese and into Japanese.
